Prompt: Change can be scary but don't let the fear overtake you.

Change happens everyday and to everyone. There is so many ways you can describe change depending on what is changing. A change could be anything and sometimes you don’t know when something could change. When something changes it’s different than what it used to be, that can sometimes be scary, exciting or good. Change happens to all of us but it is usually for the better. So why could change be scary? When I was younger I had my own little friend group with 3 friends, Sophia, Annie and Julia. We were always fine, we never fought about anything. They were my best friends and I never thought I would loose them. When 7th grade came Annie joined a new group of friends because we all kind of drifted apart over that summer. It was kinda unexpected but we eventually got over it but as the year went on Sophia and Julia kinda separated too and our little group wasn’t really a group. During that time when the group fell apart I was so scared to make new friends because I thought I wouldn't be excepted for who I was so I didn’t even try. Eventually 8th grade came and I finally made a new friend, Elsie, nothing seemed to matter about my old group because I was happy with my new best friend who I am still friends with to this day. I really regret not taking advantage of my group splitting up because I could’ve made a lot more friends, but i'm glad it turned out this way. Don’t be scared of change good or bad, make the best of the situation and don’t let the fear of change overtake you.
