“Where you stumble is where your treasure lies.”

My earliest memory was when I was two or three years old. I remember sitting on the stairs in my home with my dad and I watched as he tied one of his shoes. I was interested with the magic he did with the two strings so I gave it a shot after one visual lesson and managed to tie my own shoes. This was when my dad decided I was going to be intelligent. I don't consider myself intelligent, maybe just smart. My life went on, knowing how to tie my shoes and I stumble upon another memory. I was currently five years old and I was very happy all the time and full of energy. I was at my family's shore house when I was asked to get out of the pool to get ready for dinner. I later came out, all dressed and saw all my cousins still swimming so I jumped in with my clothes on. I had a bathing suit on underneath so it wasn't too bad and we ended not going out so we could swim the rest of the night.

It actually wasn't too long go when one specific memory made me who I was. The day started off as any other day, I got up to eat breakfast and my mom decided to go to the mall and I went with her hoping that maybe I could get something new. We were driving on a very busy highway, sometimes there was traffic and other times we were driving at a consistent speed. As we were driving along and listening to music we heard a little thud, we figured we hit a bump or something and my mom continued to drive. We drove another mile before someone rammed right into the back of my moms car pushing us sideways and almost into the other lane. In that moment I didn't know what to do but hope that nothing else happened but i was wrong, the car hit a guardrail and the car tumbled leaving my traumatized. When the car finished flipping and we were upside down my first reaction was to kick the door open and see if my mom was okay. A women from another car was so angry at the other driver but came over to us concerned. I was sitting there, blood on my face from glass cutting my forehead and trembling. The lady asked me if i was okay and I couldn't get words out, she immediately replied with ¨a ambulance is on its way, don't worry¨
